South Park: The Fractured but Whole (Switch)
I have no idea how far I am into this game but so far I have been loving it! Minus the battles against Connor. Always been a fan of South Park & this feels like its an interactive episode/movie which makes playing the game very enjoyable to me. This is the first game in a while where I actually WANT to see the fluff story clips & cut scenes!
The difficulty options actually line up to what I would expect (I chose easiest of course) & I'm not getting all upset about losing like I have experienced with other games on the easiest setting. I always like starting at the lowest level because I know I suck at games & if it's good enough, I will go back and play again on a harder setting.
The game battles are turn based, very relaxed for the most part, and strategy counts for the most. As far as I know if you lose you can always replay. No need to worry about lives or having to start over.
This is one of those games that I wish would never end. I went ahead and got the season pass for DLC packs right away, but haven't really tried any of em out yet. I think the DLC quests are always at the hardest difficulty but I can deal with that once I complete the main story. Either way I have something to look forward to.

The price of this game is pretty standard across Nintendo Switch's top games and runs for $59.99 on the game store. The DLC Packs come in all sorts of options & allows users to cherry-pick specific packs ($1.99 - $11.99), grab whole season pass ($29.99), and even get everything all bundled up in one "Gold" package edition ($89.99). I mean, whoever doesn't like options can gtfo.
My main complaint about the game is that some of the text is packed stupid into an area that should be bigger & like impossible to read as if it were captcha text but made for smurf eyes only.
I thought it was just cause I was playing handheld mode at first but even while I was laying on the couch playing upstairs on a 46" tele it still looked blurred and difficult to read. I had to keep sitting up to decipher the cryptic looking characters on the screen while wearing my glasses.
But still isn't enough to piss and moan about. This shit's too good & exactly what I needed to get me through the wait for DONKEY KONG NEXT FRIDAYYYYY!
