South Park: The Fractured but Whole (Switch)
I have no idea how far I am into this game but so far I have been loving it! Always been a fan of South Park & this feels like its an interactive episode/movie which makes playing the game very enjoyable to me. This is the first game in a while where I actually WANT to see the fluff story clips & cut scenes!
The difficulty options actually line up to what I would expect (I chose easiest of course) & I'm not getting all upset about losing like I have experienced with other games on the easiest setting. I always like starting at the lowest level because I know I suck at games & if it's good enough, I will go back and play again on a harder setting.
The game battles are turn based, very relaxed for the most part, and strategy counts for the most. As far as I know if you lose you can always replay. No need to worry about lives or having to start over.
Dokkan Battle Misleading Advertisement
Was asked to help rally the troops about the latest false advertising that occurred on Global version of Dokkan Battle double dokkan summon event. NateSA wrote up the following template for those of you who want to use a base for contacting & letting em know you're unsatisfied with what happened & want some action taken.
BluePiccolo will be live streaming in about 2 hours on this matter for those who want to find out more details:
Subject: Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle Misleading advertisement, poor official apology, and in game or in store refund request
We the Player Base have a legitimate concern as to the handling of the above mentioned title by the above-mentioned publisher. For the date range of April 20th 2018 through April 23rd 2018 the player base was never made aware of a misleading error in the advertisement for a major in game campaign. During these “100 hours” Tens of thousands of players used in game currency as well as money to purchase in game currency for this advertised event. Only after the event has ended did the publisher make a formal statement acknowledging there was a misleading error on one unit in the campaign. This error made it completely impossible to pull the advertised unit, simply because the unit does not exist in the form it was advertised and more importantly, was never included in the banner’s pool, despite being featured in the advertisement.
During this major celebration The publisher proudly …
Dokkan Japan v3.12.0 Mods
Update: APKs are up, I have not tested them all & not sure if all of the C1 versions uploaded correctly. Don't forget to make sure you enable storage permissions as stated on the APK Page.
In the process of uploading the APKs now. Everyone needs to chill out. If you didn't notice I am not responding to anything on twitter so spamming me more isn't going to speed anything up.
Update happened while I was at work so deal with not being able to play for a couple hours. No ones holding you to keep using my APKs. You're free to leave at any time.
For those of you who have been patient & supportive, I greatly appreciate it and are the reason I put myself through this garbage disposal.
DB Legends CBT2 Findings
Will be posting images/data I come across in the latest apk. No new characters (assets at least) from what I can tell. Let me know if I post any duplicate stuff from last CBT.
Also, PVP mode seems to be down for maint right now. Weird. Some one leaked the APK for those of you looking for it. It's not mine & I haven't looked into it but guessing it's fine. There are others floating around too, so don't blame me if PvP isnt working good cause I was all about keeping shit locked down this round.
If are weary about the other leaked apks: I have made a direct clone of the app from the playstore & uploaded renzy.me/dblcbt2 [MD5 Checksum 2af3f2c8cc5e6baa98d66cf9e3c0051b]. Was not planning to do this but since others have put it out there I might as well make sure a pure/clean version (not implying other versions are infectious) is available.
Rocket League Goals
Just messing around with the Switch's built in video capture. Joined a bunch of goals from Rocket League into a mini compilation.
DB Legends Unity Data Extract & Zip Download
Unpacked all the Unity "MonoBehaviour" files I could identify & created a Zip File with em all for who ever wants to dig around. So far I have noticed the files with all uppercase names have the most human readable type information. I think the repeat files with #NUMBER after them are the newer versions that were updated while the game was going on, like data downloads.
I will be writing some code to parse as much of this data as possible & automate what I can to construct into the legends site so it will be easier for everyone to read. Have not come across the card specs yet though.

Urban Trial Playground (Switch) & Choosing Games
Picked up this game for Nintendo Switch cause it looked kinda fun & different from a lot of games available on the store. It is a bit quirky/cheezy BUT for the price point ($20.00) I feel like I will get good entertainment value out of it. I've been having really good luck with 20 and under games on the Switch.
Since the Nintendo Switch tells you how many hours you've played for each game (really nice feature that I did not see anywhere on PS4) I started evaluating games based on $/hour of entertainment. No, this doesn't fully quantify the real experience but it does help me with picking new games. But for example, Rocket League, I got for $14.99 on sale & have 165+ hours on it. That's $0.09 / hour for an amazing game I can pick up a match at home or on the go, great time killer since matches are only 5min or so.
Another thing I found to be kinda useful was to cross-reference my friends games and see if the top games they play are similar to mine. If so, I try to see if they have any crazy amounts of hours on games that I don't have. It at least gives me something to look into if I'm on a dry spell for new games.
